Mondays are big clichés of suck, plagued by jammed traffic, cold coffee, boring television, sleep deprivation, loneliness, asthma, lost socks, rabies, un-locatable beeping noises and locusts. Well, some of those things, anyway. The point is, what on earth could make a body get jazzed for Monday?
Well, how about new streamable tracks from Philidelphia lo-fi doo-wop rockers Dr. Dog? Sounds pretty frown-repellent to me. Yes, each Monday through Sept. 3, members of the band will hand-pick random unreleased songs from the group’s back catalogue for easy homepage availability.
Furthermore, the members of Dr. Dog – who began a short July tour last night in Lake Forest, Calif. - will appear on the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson Friday, July 13, where they will perform “The Girl” from their latest album, We All Belong.
