A few miles outside Joshua Tree National Park, home of the burrowing owl, Cracker/Camper Van Beethoven and Pitch-A-Tent Records are hosting their third annual campout from September 6-8. Bands like Magnolia Electric Company and Hackensaw Boys will play two stages at Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace in California’s Yucca Valley, where 1,000 or so folks are expected to either camp for free or wuss out in a hotel room.
Cracker plans to play the entirety of their platinum-selling 1993 album, Kerosene Hat, celebrating its 15th anniversary. Visit the links below to see the full lineup and address of the place, so you don’t get yourself lost.
