Pineapple Express clip hits the web

| | Comments (0)

Reversing the normal order of film publicity (screenshots, trailer, actual footage), the folks behind Pineapple Express have released more than four minutes of the film to JoBlo.com. The clip looks like Freaks and Geeks meets Harold and Kumar. Take a look:

Pineapple Express is the upcoming film written by Superbad's Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, produced by comedy wunderkind Judd Apatow. The movie isn't set for release until Aug. 8, so it's awfully early to see an extended clip like this. The Superbad DVD coming out tomorrow (Dec. 4) also contains an "exclusive first look" at Pineapple Express. If you're in the Los Angeles area be sure to keep your ears out for test screenings, since things are clearly on their way towards finishing already.
