Yeah, it was a beautiful ride, but it we all knew it couldn't last forever. Radiohead's "pay-what-you-want" download experiment for In Rainbows is expiring Dec. 10, two months after it began. You might want to squeeze in one more free download before it ends, just for old times' sake.
Billboard.com reports that the group is talking to iTunes regarding future digital distribution of In Rainbows. As we previously reported, the album arrives at U.S. retailers on Jan. 1.
In Rainbows discbox arrives, fresh round of seizures strikes music geek community:
It's bright, shiny, and contains exclusive music and art. Some folks plunked down $80 for it. The ultra-exclusive In Rainbows discbox is a prize indeed, and now that folks are starting to rip into it, we're beginning to see analysis of the bonus disc of material that accompanies the set. Check it out! The Radiohead European tour actually has dates and venues now. Still no U.S. gigs, however. Pray hard enough to your Jonny Greenwood altar and it might just happen.
