Sorry, friends: no Radiohead roundup this week. While you can't really fault the format (as this news item will soon attest, those cheeky Brits love issuing news drip by drip), there is something bigger on the horizon. Namely, a Radiohead North American tour.
But wait. Before you start pinching pennies in preparation of Thom & Co.'s arrival at a venue near you, there is, of course, a catch. The members of Radiohead have simply announced the North American cities they will play in 2008. That's it. Witness, in alphabetical order:
Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington DC
According to a press release, the dates will take place in two parts, one before and one after the band's summer trek that covers much of Europe and the UK. Although a handful of those dates have already sold out, you can see what's left here. Look forward to North American dates and venues in, most likely, a future Radiohead roundup.
