With a Nobel Peace Prize under his belt, Bishop Desmond Tutu has turned his sights on a Grammy. Digital Music News reports that the South African champion of human rights is involved in the SOS Records venture WeLoveFreeMusic.com. While his new cry for freedom is set in a somewhat more commercial context, we applaud the company's plans to give away a new MP3 each day from a different independent artist. Fans will vote on the music they hear and the winner gets an SOS record deal. The company claims their site's launch at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday was "the greatest revolution in the history of music—the day that music was set free," but we bet you don't even remember where you were when it happened.
