New York's Madison Square Garden is celebrating Nelson Mandela's 91st birthday at this first-ever event to bring awareness to the 46664 organization, which promotes solutions to social issues.

For two days in Tulsa, Okla., Diversafest, better known as Dfest, will bring 164 bands to perform in the city. The Black Crowes, Ra Ra Riot and Cake are headlining this year's event. Dfest also has a conference component, featuring panel discussions, a tradeshow, clinics and artist mentoring.
