On the follow-up to 2003's No More Greener Grasses, hip-hop veteran The Grouch joins fellow Living Legend member Eligh for their third collaboration. Once more, the California rappers bring their poignant wordplay along with guests like Slug, Blu, and Mistah FAB. The 14 songs expand over a large spectrum of themes and rhythms: On "Intro," poetic rhymes and slow beats ask for honesty, while "!BOOM!" features an electronic tempo in the background that whispers "boom, boom" in between anecdotes of Kool cigarettes and car troubles. The Grouch and Eligh move seamlessly from one rhyme to the next and, before you know it, your hands are in the air following the tempo of their wordplay.  Muriel Vega
