Description: John Butler first picked up the guitar in order to earn his grandfather’s 1930’s era dobro, promised to the first grandchild to learn how to play. Since then, Butler has melded an array of musical styles and techniques to create a sound that is completely his own. Butler played at the Paste Studios without the other members of his trio, but the music from his album came through as though it were meant to be played solo.
