Description: During her visit to the Paste Studio, Dar Williams mentioned that she wrote her first song at age eleven—a spiritual song with some rather heavy references to lambs. She laughed and shuddered at the thought of playing it today, but regardless, it's clear that she's been writing since early adolescence. Over the past twenty years, she's turned out one solid record after another, and shows no signs of stopping. Her most recent release, Promised Land, features a track called "It's Alright," which she played for us when she stopped by.
