Description: If the album Taller Children quickly starts to feel like the soundtrack to your life, it may be more than the clever lyrics and playful pop choruses. The band's lead singer Elizabeth Ziman studied film scoring during her college years, and it's evident in the rich and often effusive instrumentation that surrounds her clear and unaffected vocals. At the Paste Studio, the band's sound was somewhat simpler, but no less compelling. The band's performance of "Momma's Boy" served as more than ample proof, that watching Elizabeth & the Catapult is even more fun live than singing along to the album in the privacy of your own home.
