Description:Listening to their new album Wildlife, it seems nearly impossible to dislike Headlights – not just their music, but the band members themselves. Wispy vocals, sounds of analog organs and simple percussion create an album that feels both youthful and comforting, like summers in high school without the teen angst.
At the Paste studio, the band exuded the same friendly energy that one hears in their music. Erin, Tristan, Brett and Nick talked about their favorite bands, asked about the best places to eat in town, played some older songs, and some new ones too. My favorite of the session was the slow and strummy song “Wisconsin Beaches.” — Kevin Keller
