The Pharmacy Weekend

Seattle band The Pharmacy opted for a change of scenery when it came to both writing and recording their latest album, Weekend. They decamped to New Orleans, and the leisurely pace of the Big Easy is evident throughout the collection, its front-and-center drums and growling electric guitar all strung together by Scott Yoder’s raw vocals. The group is still a bit rough around the edges, but they’re headed towards a smoother sound with these new songs — Anna Swindle
