Description:If the Rosewood Thieves’ music sounds surprisingly familiar, don’t blame it on déjà vu. The New York-based band have drawn countless comparisons to early musicians from the 1960’s, from Bob Dylan to John Lennon. But the band’s old sound does not mean they have nothing new to add. The vivid lyrics from lead singer Erick Jordan paint images ranging from lost love to the Apocalypse. And even though Jordan was feeling less than stellar during the band’s stop at the Paste studio, the band still managed to record a great live version of “California Moon” from their Lonesome – EP.
