A Reggae Tribute To Bob Dylan

Set to reggae rhythms, Dylan's songs take on a whole new feel on Is It Rolling, Bob?, the forthcoming reggae tribute album to America's most noted songwriter.

Sanctuary/RAS Records has rounded up reggae heavyweights like Toots Hibbert, Gregory Isaacs, and The Mighty Diamonds for the project which is set for release August 10.

The collection feautres a wide range of Dylan material and a rare version of the song "I and I" (originally from Dylan's 1983 album Infidels), remixed by drum-and-bass duo Sly & Robbie.

The album's all-star backing band is comproised of veteran musicians who have played with Bob Marley & the Wailers and Peter Tosh. These musicians, including drummer Sly Dunbar and guitarist Earl "Chinna" Smith, did most of their work for the album in the Kingston, Jamaica.
