Dates for Americana Music Association Conference

The 2004 Americana Music Conference will be held Sept. 23-25 at the Nashville Con- vention Center. The annual conference's fifth installment will feature three days of performances by Americana artists, numerous panels, roundtables and seminars, and the launch of a trade show—with exhibitors ranging from publications to equipment manufacturers to various service companies. The Americana Music Association will also present its third annual Americana Honors & Awards Show during the conference with Jim Lauderdale serving as host for the second year in a row.

Past performers at the conference include Allison Moorer, The Be Good Tanyas, Billy Joe Shaver, Bobby Bare Jr., The Bottle Rockets, Caitlin Cary, Gillian Welch and more.

Discounted conference registration is $200 for current Americana Music Association members and $250 for non-members. Passes can be purchased online at americanamusic.org. The deadline for early, discounted conference registration is May 31.
