Former B-52 Spins Party Favorites Via Satellite

B-52’s frontman Fred Schneider (pictured far left) will host a new program on SIRIUS Satellite Radio. Party Out of Bounds with Fred Schneider will air on SIRIUS music channel First Wave starting Oct. 1. The three-hour program—airing Friday nights from 9 p.m. until midnight—will feature the best party songs from Schneider’s vast collection of 60,000 vinyl albums and singles.

“I’m excited to have my own radio show on SIRIUS,” said Schneider. “Believe me, I know how to throw a good party, and my show Party Out of Bounds will be one of my best. I’ll spin 12-inch mixes, club favorites and obscure gems, along with classic tracks you don’t get to hear much anymore.”
