Modest Mouse to Curate Music Festival

Saturday Nov. 6 and Sunday Nov. 7 are the dates for the third annual All Tomorrow’s Parties Pacific Festival at the Queen Mary in Long Beach, Calif., with Lou Reed and festival curators Modest Mouse (pictured above) scheduled as Saturday night’s headliners. The Flaming Lips will headline Sunday on a bill featuring The Shins.

Once again, event organizers Barry Hogan/Helen Cottage for ATP Concerts will team with Los Angeles partners Goldenvoice and the curators to bring together a variety of eclectic musicians for the two-day musical experience. Other acts already confirmed include: The Black Heart Procession, Built To Spill, The Cramps, Eagles of Death Metal (featuring Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme), Explosions In The Sky, Love as Laughter, Lungfish, Willy Mason, Radar Brothers, Sufjan Stevens, The Walkmen, White Hassle, White Magic and Wolf Parade. Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.

Doors open at 1:00 PM with performances set to begin at 2:00 PM on both days. Tickets are $55 per day with two-day passes available for $90. Advance tickets are on sale now through the festival's website www.atpfestival.com and through Ticketmaster. Two-day passes (without a facility fee) are available in-person at Amoeba Music, 6400 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood, Calif., beginning Monday Sept. 20.
