Beck & Interscope Release First Commercial Mash-Up

"Frontin' On Debra"—the hybrid of Beck's "Debra" (from 1999's Midnight Vultures) and Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z's "Frontin'" (from 2003's The Neptunes Present: Clones)—was concocted by the New York-based DJ Reset. The song is the first commercially released mash-up (a technique that's been popular with the filesharing public for a while, but had yet to see a mainstream push until now).

Interscope released the track via iTunes on Oct. 12 and it's now the sites #27 most downloaded song.
