Music from Damien Rice’s acclaimed album O has been chosen by Academy Award-winning director Mike Nichols to accompany his new film Closer, an examination of contemporary relationships starring Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Clive Owen.
Rice’s “The Blower’s Daughter” opens and closes the film, and other tracks from O, as well as incidental music composed by Rice, are featured throughout. Closer premieres in theaters on Dec. 3.
