A Tribute To Sublime

Artists including Jack Johnson, Los Lobos, Gift of Gab, Ozomatli, Camper Van Beethoven, Fishbone and many others have come together for Look at All the Love We Found: A Tribute to Sublime. Organizers—the immediate Sublime family representing years of management, touring and grassroots marketing—designed Love with a particular goal in mind.

"We want [remaining members] Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh to just be able to sit back, relax and hear some great artists paying tribute to the music they wrote," explained Zach Fischel of Cornerstone Recording Arts Society.

The principals involved have agreed to donate part of the proceeds to Carlos Santana’s Milagro Foundation, which brings music to underprivileged children and MusiCares’ MAP Fund which provides addiction treatment for all musicians. Sublime’s singer/songwriter/guitarist Bradley Nowell died of a heroin overdose hours after what would be the final Sublime show in May 1996.

Look at All the Love We Found: A Tribute to Sublime is set for release June 21, 2005.
