deviantART Exhibition This Weekend in Hollywood

Online art community deviantART.com will host an art exhibition this weekend, June 17 and 18 at the Hollywood Palladium. The summit, which will feature classes by Marvel comic artist Mark Brooks (Spiderman), nude drawing and live-art displays, is offering a free booth to display art for any member of the online art community who attends.

Speakers and panelists at the conference will include Ryan Odagawa, the illustrator of Resident Evil, artists Luke Chueh and Aaron Jasinski, and photographer Chris Weeks.

Artists displaying work at the exhibition can get feedback at on their work and impromptu forums are available for artists who sign up for a conference room. Additionally, visual software companies will provide tutorials and a computer arcade will provide opportunities for gaming.
