Tribute Album to Raise Money for Late Singer/Songwriter's Children

Dar Williams, Catie Curtis, the Kennedys and others are in the studio recording a tribute album to musician Rachel Bissex (pictured above), who died in February after a two-year battle with breast cancer.

The album, which will feature Bissex’s songs, is being recorded with donated funds for production and publicity, and all funds generated from the album’s sale will go to a scholarship fund for Bissex’s surviving children, Emma and Matt.

The tribute is scheduled for a July release, and can be preordered online at www.rachelbissex.org.
