Jay Bennett produces Blues Traveler album

Veteran jam rockers Blues Traveler are set to release their eighth studio album and Vanguard Records debut, ¡Bastardos!, on Sep. 12. Ex-Wilco multi-instrumentalist Jay Bennett produced the full-length, recorded in March at Texas Treefort Studio in Austin.

The group formed near Princeton, N.J. in 1983. Its 1995 album Four sold over 4 million copies and earned the band a Grammy.
