It has been called a modern-day version of David and Goliath. Indeed, for 10 young men and their two coaches, it represented a triumph of the DIY mentality over corporate America. Or perhaps it was just a baseball game.

Secretly Canadian defeated Bank One 15-4 (the game being called in the fifth inning due to the 10-run mercy rule), securing its distinction as champion of the Babe Ruth Division of the Bloomington Junior League Baseball Association.
