Rick Rubin's American Recordings joins Warner Bros.

Producer Rick Rubin, who has worked with artists like Johnny Cash, the Beastie Boys and Weezer, has agreed to a partnership between his American Recordings and Warner Brothers.

Although American will still sign artists and deal with the creative side of things, Warner will now distribute and promote the releases.
