American Analog Set announces last tour

After ten years together, the members of American Analog Set have announced their final tour. The band begins this last trek on Oct. 20th in Chicago, and will end it with two shows in Atlanta on Dec. 2 and 3.

Set Free, American Analog Set's sixth album, was released on Sept. 20.

But is the band breaking up? Well, not exactly. Guitarist/vocalist Andrew Kenny clarified things in a statement to the press:

"We're still friends and we still like making music together," he said. "But we've all got other projects that we'd like to concentrate on for a while."

Pushed on whether or not the band will play another show, Kenny explained further:

"It's possible," he said. "We may play again here and there but this is the last time we will get into a van in August and get out of a van in December. This is the last full-on tour in support of an album. So you should get out to the rock show."
