Brian Wilson's Donation Challenge a Success

Brian Wilson’s Katrina benefit challenge has come to an end. The total amount raised came to $210,000, and Wilson has already made 500 personal phone calls. On Sep. 22 Wilson challenged people to donate over $100 to a Hurricane Katrina relief fund, and promised a personal phone call to each who did so. The challenge ended October 1.

After finding such success with his first attempt at drumming up support, Wilson is now planning a Christmastime benefit performance. The concert is in the planning stages. More at brianwilson.com.
