Arrested Development in Danger

Fox has pulled the Emmy-winning comedy Arrested Development and 20th TV/New Line TV's Kitchen Confidential off its schedule for November, replacing it with reruns of Prison Break due to low viewership.

The network is set to return both shows to their time slots with original episodes following the fall finale of Prison Break on Nov. 28.

This comes just after Arrested was on hiatus for Fox’s coverage of post-season baseball, and in the middle of speculation that Fox is giving Arrested the axe. The network cut back Arrested’s third-season order from 22 episodes to 13, which usually hints at the demise of a program.

There is possibility of the show being shopped around, but a cable network is not likely to pick it up because of its high price.
