George Clinton Launches Solo Project

Parliament/Funkadelic frontman George Clinton and P-Funk guitarist Chris Sauthoff tour this spring with their new band—the Children of Production. C.O.P blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, world, rock, gospel, classical and funk.

Chris “Citrus” Suathoff also plays with his Denver-based side project, dubbed U.S. Pipe and the Balls Johnson Dance Machine.

Of P-Funk’s expansion and various members' solo projects, Clinton says, “I can’t wait to grow this P-Funk thang all over again. I got the old roots with the live concerts and the new branches with the various band members, as well as my own solo projects.”
