Green Day Wins People's Choice Award, Gets Grammy Nod

At the 32nd Annual People's Choice Awards on Jan. 10, Green Day accepted the award for "Favorite Group."

The band's American Idiot debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 in 2004. At 2005's Grammy Awards, Green Day won for Best Rock Album and this year they're up again for Record of the Year, for the single "Boulevard of Broken Dreams." The Grammys will air Feb. 8 on CBS.
