Paul Oakenfold to Release New Album

A Lively Mind is the upcoming release from DJ Paul Oakenfold, due out April 11. Hip-hop pioneer Grandmaster Flash and prodcuer/artist Pharrell Williams grace tracks on the new album. This Maverick Records full-length is Oakenfold’s first since 2002.

Don’t expect the Lively Mind to sit around and wait for April, though. Until then, Oakenfold will keep himself busy remixing singles and scoring at least three upcoming films.

In the last few years he has remixed tracks for Madonna and U2, collaborated with people ranging from Nelly Furtado to Hunter S. Thompson, and scored commercials and movies.
