David Gilmour Releases Eco-Friendly Solo Album

Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour will released his third solo album, On An Island, in the U.S. on Columbia Records March 7. The record is Columbia Records' first to use the eco-friendly CarbonNuetral technology, which attempts to restore the natural carbon-dioxide balance in the atmosphere by using environmentally friendly manufacturing.

Gilmour’s On An Island tour opens with two shows at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on April 4-5. Tour dates include stops in Toronto, Chicago, San Fransisco and Los Angeles.
