Jay Farrar to Record New Son Volt Album in April

Jay Farrar will begin recording a new Son Volt album this April for Sony Legacy, the artist's management confirmed.

The album is scheduled for a spring 2007 release.

Also, Farrar will embark on a short tour with Anders Parker for their bluegrass side project, Gob Iron (U.K. slang for harmonica), this fall.
