Dolemite Soundtrack on CD for First Time

Relapse Records plans to reissue the original motion picture soundtrack to the 1975 cult hit Dolemite on June 27. It's the first time ever the album will be available on CD.

Starring comedian Rudy Ray Moore as the film’s titular pimp/street hustler, Dolemite is perhaps best known as one of the 1970s' most enduring “blaxploitation” films.

Included in the soundtrack's deluxe reissue are exclusive bonus tracks and radio ads for the movie, an extensive 28-page booklet with unpublished photos, as well as liner notes on the film and Moore’s influential career.
