New Andrew Bujalski Film Coming In The Fall

Still only in his twenties, indie filmmaker Andrew Bujalski placed himself under various film critics' radar after his debut feature, Funny Ha Ha, was released two years ago. His new film, Mutual Appreciation opens Sept. 1 in New York City and will follow the same format as Funny Ha Ha: low-budget film with non-professional actors. How Cassavetes of him.

Bujalski's new film focuses on a musician who goes to New York to pursue a rock career after his previous band breaks up. It stars Justin Rice, lead vocalist and guitarist for unsigned buzz talents Bishop Allen.
