Corinne Bailey Rae Plays Saturday Night Live

On October 7, 2006, British singer-songwriter Corinne Bailey Rae will appear as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Also this month, Rae will appear on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson, and CD USA. Rae, whose self-titled debut album set records when it entered the U.K. album charts at #1 and went on to debut at #17 on the U.S. Billboard 200, went from virtual unknown to platinum-selling musician in just a few short months. Praised by artists from the Arctic Monkeys to Burt Bacharach, Rae’s music will also appear in the upcoming Miramax/Disney motion picture, Venus. Additionally, a one-hour concert will be aired exclusively on DIRECTV throughout November and her segment on “Austin City Limits” will air December 16th.
