Joshua Tree Festival Benefits Fire Disaster Relief

The Joshua Tree Roots Music Festival will take place the weekend of October 21 and 22, 2006 in the California’s Mojave Desert. Both Saturday and Sunday will feature continuous music on two alternating stages with a line-up that includes Railroad Earth, Tim Easton, the Ditty Bops and many more.

Camping is encouraged and part of the proceeds from the festival and the art auction in conjunction with it (as well as the benefit CD that will be on sale) will go toward fire disaster relief. Meteor showers are predicted to appear in the clear desert skies over the weekend, which would help make the event even more of a truly memorable festival experience.
