Little Steven Announces Band Contest

Rocker Little Steven and AT&T blue room have announced the Underground Garage Battle of the Bands, a competition in which eligible bands can upload an MP3 to the AT&T blue room site (www.attblueroom.com/music) to compete for a chance to open for the New York Dolls on their Rolling Rock and Roll Show tour in November. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 and will be reviewed by Little Steven and his staff. Three bands from each market will make it to the final round where they will compete for votes on the blue room from October 20 to November 2.

The AT&T blue room is currently featuring from Little Steven’s Underground Garage and the Rolling Rock and Roll tour including band interviews and live performances from such up and coming artists as the Charms and Mooney Suzuki as well as legends like the Zombies and the Romantics.
