Matt Mays & El Torpedo Jams With Levon Helms

On Oct. 7, upcoming Paste Four To Watch band Matt Mays & El Torpedo played at Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble in Woodstock, NY. The loud and rowdy band turned the volume down for its five-song acoustic set, after which it enjoyed several standing ovations from the small and intimate audience.

Later that night, Helms invited MM & ET to perform a song with him; afterwards, the bookers insisted that the band return to perform other shows there. The band’s self-titled debut is out today, Oct. 17.
