Modest Mouse Postpones LP Release, Tours

Those who were highly anticipating Modest Mouse’s upcoming album, We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank, will just have to continue to wait. Originally slated for release on Dec. 19, the band announced in a press release that it is to be released in early 2007.

Those lucky enough to be in Los Angeles and New York can catch most of the band’s tour with its newest member, former The Smith’s guitarist Johnny Marr.
