Silversun Pickups to Join Wolfmother on Tour

On the heels of a recent spate of media buzz, the Silversun Pickups have been picked by Wolfmother to join the acclaimed psych-metal rockers on their upcoming tour of the US and Canada. The Pickups released their debut recording, Carnavas, on Dangerbird Records in July 2006. With the single "Well Thought Out Twinkles" on heavy rotation on mtvU (which also picked SSPU as one of thier recent "Freshman Five" picks) and with a request pending from MTV2 for an on-camera appearance this October, this fall may very well prove to be a breakout season for the SoCal shoegazers.

Silversun Pickups are currently on tour with husband-and-wife indie outfit Viva Voce, and are slated to join up with Wolfmother on November 21st at Philadelphia's Electric Factory. Other stops include:
