During the gloomy winter months, no country could use more Southern hospitality and knee-smacking country joviality than inclement England and its UK neighbors.
To help raise the spirits of its anglophile friends across the pond, North Carolina’s favorite bluegrass family, The Avett Brothers, has announced plans to take their golden folk stylings across the pond on an 8-date tour this February and March in the United Kingdom. The Brothers’ third studio album, Four Thieves Gone: The Robbinsville Sessions, was released last February on Ramseur Records and includes more raucous drinking anthems and bandana’d revelry that initially propelled the fraternal band.
The Avett Brothers are currently on tour in the southern US. For more information about The Avett Brothers, go to TheAvettBrothers.com.
