PassAlong, Nettwerk Team Up For BNL Widget

It just got a little easier for Barenaked Ladies fans to keep track of the live escapades of their favorite band. Through a newly-announced partnership between the Ladies’ label, Nettwerk Music Group, and PassAlong Networks can now receive special promotional offers and exclusive live bonus feature directly on their desktops.

PassAlong's OnTour widget, first released in September 2006, provides music lovers with up-to-the-minute information about the live appearances of their favorite artists and any tours that may be passing through their towns of choice. In addition to ticket information, the program also provides users with driving directions to venues, all in one convenient desktop window.

Nettwerk and PassAlong have teamed up in the past to bring special editions of the widget to fans of Guster, Leigh Nash, and Jars of Clay.

Now available for PC and Mac users, the widget is free to download on the OnTour website. The special Barenaked Ladies version of the program is available via the band’s official site and through OnTour.
