Paste once again nominated for PLUG Independent Music Awards

For the past several years, the PLUG Independent Music Awards have been a forum devoted to recognizing and honoring the independent musical community. PLUG brings together music lovers from every walk of the music world—“writers, DJs, webmasters, artists, filmmakers, managers, indie retailers, and most importantly fans” to celebrate non-mainstream musicians. Anyone can vote in categories from “New Artist of the Year” and “Live Act of the Year” to “Music Website of the Year” by going to the PLUG website and the winners are honored at the Independent Music Awards. The 2007 Awards will take place February 10, 2007 at New York City’s Irving Plaza.

Last year, Paste took top honors in the “Magazine of the Year” category and we’re nominated again this year. If you'd like to show your support, go to PlugAwards.com and vote, now through January 2007.
