Peyroux Fights Homelessness On Fall US Tour

Madeleine Peyroux is doing more on her fall 2006 tour than wowing audiences with her blues-tinged jazz vocals. On the road since September to promote her third solo album, Half the Perfect World, Peyroux has contributed a dollar for every ticket sold per show to a local charity in each town she’s performed in.

In collaboration with the National Coalition for the Homeless, the proceeds have all gone to organizations that pledge to combat homelessness.

Currently touring Europe, Peyroux will return to the United States in February for another romp 'round the country.
