Johnny Cash, The Doors, Brazilian Girls, and Marilyn Manson are just a few of the artists whose live performances will be featured in Concert TV’s special year-end programming, set to air all through December 2006. Based on viewer tune-in to original broadcasts throughout the year, these live sets will be available for viewing both on television and on the internet, via Concert TV’s companion cable network and website, Concert.tv.
Launched in 2003, Concert TV airs concert footage and documentaries of rock artists both new and old.
“We've compiled the most requested shows of the year and put them all into December's lineup to give viewers a gift for the holidays that will last all month long,” Concert TV co-founder and president Michael Shimbo said in a statement. “Television on demand offers our viewers the freedom of choice. It also offers Concert TV the ability to program based on their viewing habits and interests.”
He added, “December is a great example of a next generation television experience.”
