Brandi Carlile readies sophomore LP

Rootsy singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile is set to release her sophomore effort April 3 on Columbia Records.

Her first album since she was named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 Artists to Watch in 2005,” The Story was produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett and recorded during a marathon 11-day session at The Warehouse Studios in Vancouver.
