New Timbaland LP Features Elton John, MIA, Others

One is a jack-of-all-trades hip-hop artist whose work helped redefine the genre as we know it; the other is a piano-pounding Brit whose music has topped pop charts around the globe. Together, they make up just one collaboration out of many slated to appear on one of the most-anticipated albums of the year.

And no, we don’t mean Kanye West and Chris Martin. Or Jay-Z and Chris Martin, for that matter.

We’re talking about Timbaland and Elton John, whose collaboration on Timbaland’s upcoming Shock Value LP was reported Monday by Billboard.

With additional appearances by Fall Out Boy, M.I.A., She Wants Revenge, and The Hives, Shock Value will also feature less-suprising guests Snoop Dogg, Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado. It is slated for release on March 27th, 2007.
