Ricky Scaggs and Bruce Hornsby ready collaboration

Take the traditional bluegrass lineup of mandolin/banjo/bass/guitar/fiddle, add some unrivaled songwriting and a little piano-playing, and what do you get?

Well, if you’re country legend Ricky Scaggs and renowned pianist Bruce Hornsby, an eponymous collaboration, duh.

Scaggs and Hornsby’s musical lovechild will drop March 20 via Sony BMG/Legacy, and a subsequent tour will promote the new record. Stay tuned for show dates and a tracklist.
